Catch Up

So much for trying to post every week. Christy had Spring Break from March 27 thru April 20. The first week we spent here at home. Shadow had Spring Break that week so she was here the whole week. The girls had lots of fun together. The second week Christy was with me in St. George. Crystal watched her during the day. One evening I took Christy and her BFF Britten to dinner at BrickOven. They had a good time. They laughed so much. Cute girls :). The third week Christy spent in Provo with Grandma Cosgrove. She was spoiled the whole week. Christy is doing okay in school. She is a little behind in math and science. But she will be ahead in cursive. She started cursive in Utah and her class here hasn't started cursive yet. Christy is back in counseling. She likes to go. So far I haven't noticed a whole lot of change. I guess it's slow in coming. Her geminated tooth came out last week. According to the dentist it wasn't supposed to come out until she was eleven. The Tooth Fairy left her a two dollar bill. :) Christy has been reading the American girl books. She really enjoys them. Today at the library she checked a few out. Hopefully next week I will do a better post and actually have a picture too.

Weekly Update

Christy has had a good week so far. No major fits. She is a big helper with her regular chores as well as her pay chores. Christy has a list of regular chores and then a list of chores that she earns an allowance of $10 a month for. There was no science club this week. It is starting to get warm, almost warm enough to go swimming. Nothing else really exciting happened this week.

This picture is from March 2007. James and I took Christy to the Childrens Museum at the Gateway mall in Salt Lake City. She had a great time playing. They had so many hands on activities for the kids. This is just one of the pictures from that fun day :)

Christy made this hair bow with help from Aunt Rachelle. Christy stayed at Grandma Bushar's house for a few days in March while I was working in St. George. She spent a lot of time at Aunt Rachelle's house. Christy really likes this bow and is very proud that she helped make it.

We were going to St. George so I could work for a few days and go to my orthodontist appointment. Christy got to stay in Enterprise with Grandma Bushar.

Dad, Shadow and Christy cleaning the trash bin. The girls got in trouble for peeling paint off the walls and their punishment was cleaning the trash bin. So GROSS! At least David sprayed it off with the hose first.

Christy learning how to ride a bike. This is the new bike that we traded Santa's bike in for. It has a speaker on the front that you can hook you MP3 player too and listen to music while you ride.

Salina cut her hair at thanksgiving time. Christy likes it short and so do I. It really cuts down on our morning fights.

I am so far behind in Christy's blog. I am going to try and do at least one post a week on here. We will see how it goes. Christy is in third grade. She is doing very well in school. Christy started third grade in St. George, Ut. She attended Little Valley Elementary, Mrs. Calderwood was her teacher. Her friend Britten Cunningham was in her class. In January we moved to San Diego, Ca. She is attending John Paul Jones Elementary. Ms. Carson is her teacher. I walk Christy to and from school each day. On Wednesdays after school Christy goes to Mad Science Club. Sadly this ends the end of March. She really enjoys it. Christy loves playing her DS and drawing. She is looking forward to getting baptized soon. She is a very energetic child. She likes to throw fits and she causes trouble sometimes. She loves to ride her bike and play outside. She is getting so big and will be nine in June. Time seems to have gone by so fast.

This is my school picture this year. I like school. I finished Harry Potter number three. And I started number four.
This is me when I was only two months old. This is my blessing dress. Mom says this is one of her favorite pictures.

I miss my dad and david. I get to get baptized soon. I want a computer, a tv, a bike, and clothes for Christmas.

Happy Birthday Dad

Today is Jims birthday. Mom is writing this because Christy is in Provo with Grandma Cosgrove. Christy loves her dad so very much. She still likes to draw pictures of him and play remember when. She still cares deeply for all the things that she has left from him. A special duck, a stuffed puppy and her memory books.

New school

I started school on Thursday August 13, 2009. I am in third grade. My teacher is Mrs. Calderwood. My classroom is in a trailer. Britten is in my class. Momma and her mom work together at the doctors office. I am using Crystals old backpack. Mom bought me a cute new outfit for the first day. Pink t-shirt dress, black leggins and black ballet flats. Crystal did my hair. Crystal gets me ready for school cause momma works. Crystal takes me and Michael to school and I get to ride the bus back to Alishas house. I am on chapter 7 in the third Harry Potter book. I like school. I miss my grandma cosgrove and my dad. My dads birthday is next Friday I hope I can go to his grave and leave flowers.

Pennies from Heaven

My daddy used to say that when he died and went to Heaven that he would drop pennies down. So when I find pennies I know that they are from my dad. After my dads funeral there were pennies all over grandmas front porch. Grandma let me collect them all and put them in a jar. I have added to it since then. Mom decided that we needed to turn my coins in. I got lots of money, over twenty seven dollars. I went to Walmart and bought a new bedspread. Its like daddy got me the bedspread. Here are pictures.
